- Belgian market, where BRIO is widely used
BRIO is the broker platform from Portima and is widely used by Belgian brokers. It carries the portfolio and stays the system of record. WeGroup works alongside it, adding a layer on top.
Through the BRIO API, WeGroup reads parties, policies and risk objects out of BRIO and uses them as the basis for advice and distribution. What the advisor produces in WeGroup is written back through the same connection.
The result is modern advisor and client flows on top of the platform brokers already run, without a parallel administration next to BRIO. BRIO and Portima stay the system of record.
