For international groups

Every acquisition plugs in, in days, not years.

Every acquisition adds a country, a system, a regulator. WeGroup is the operating layer beneath every buy-and-build, tenant-scoped per country, per label, per brand. No source-system migration; one way of working across the group, and faster value out of every acquired book.

Around acquisition six, multiple expansion stalls.

Every PE-backed platform hits the same wall around acquisition 6. Local volmachten run on ANVA, international firms on a dozen legacy stacks. The source system is solid. The customer-facing and advisor-facing layers fragment with every deal. Integration cost compounds, and the exit thesis demands something that doesn't exist yet: proof that the group runs as one, not as twenty offices under one logo.

A patchwork after every acquisition

Every acquired office brings its own administration, CRM and processes. 258 takeovers per year in the Dutch advisor market alone. Not an integrated group, a collection of separate businesses.

Value from acquisitions arrives late

Offices keep working their own way for years. The buy-and-build benefits don't materialise. PE investors expect multiple expansion from operational integration, not from new deals.

Management lacks group-wide insight

Three acquisitions in, nobody can see across the portfolio: risks, underinsurance, processes that have stalled, commercial opportunities. All visible per office, never at group level.

Due diligence is getting tougher

Foreign ownership of Dutch commercial brokers rose from 8% to 20% since 2016 (IG&H). International buyers expect one operating picture across the group, not twenty office-level reports under one logo. The data and processes have to be demonstrable at group level.

How WeGroup solves this

One operating layer across every country, label and source system.

Three layers that put the buy-and-build acceleration back. Group-wide insight, multi-country distribution, and a cost curve that no longer compounds per acquisition.

01 · Intelligence

More return on every acquired book.

An acquisition only delivers value once the book becomes part of group policy. The relation scan captures every client uniformly, active maintenance keeps the picture fresh, and proactive portfolio management flags underinsurance, coverage gaps and candidates to move into the group's own MGA. Uniform advice across the group, a complete client view per relationship, better-grounded group reporting.

  • Relation scan and data enrichment: uniform intake across every country and label, despite different local source systems.
  • Active maintenance: continuous intake keeps client views fresh group-wide; duty-of-care trail included.
  • Proactive portfolio management: underinsurance, coverage gaps and candidates to move into the group's own MGA, surfaced at group level.

White-label per brand, on the source system the office already runs.

Every new entity gets a tenant with the shared advisor and customer layer, in its own branding: white-label extranet, customer portal and Smart Buddy per brand. Products are loaded onto the office's existing ANVA or DIAS product engine; no source-system rebuild, no second administration. Tenant-scoped compliance per country (FSMA, DNB, ACPR, FCA and the local regulator that applies).

  • White-label extranet and customer portal per brand, with sub-branding per office where it differentiates them.
  • Products loaded onto the office's ANVA or DIAS product engine; one product setup for advice, comparison and binding.
  • One advisor and customer layer across Benelux, UK, FR and Germany; data residency per tenant.

03 · Efficiency

A new acquisition plugs in in days.

Configure the tenant, connect the source system, apply the label theme. Products loaded, Smart Buddy rolled out in Outlook, advisors onboarded via targeted webinars or live sessions. No 18-month integration project, no change-management war across a growing number of offices.

  • Configure the tenant, connect the source system, apply the label theme, in days.
  • Advisors work from Outlook as well as from the WeGroup platform, switching seamlessly between the two.
  • Onboarding for advisors and back-office via targeted webinars or live sessions, not via a big-bang migration.

Three distribution groups, one operating layer.

PIB Group operates Europe-wide on 70+ acquisitions since 2015. WeGroup provides the advisor and customer layer above Thoma Assurantiën, their Dutch MGA arm. One tenant connects to ANVA, while the group architecture is ready for the next country to plug in without an integration project.

Yellow Hive (100+ acquisitions) uses WeGroup as the distribution layer for its Personal Lines portfolio at YINCO and runs Smart Buddy via the OneSurance integration. We're scaling alongside their German rollout.

Ardonagh ($14bn valuation, 68 acquisitions in the last twelve months) uses WeGroup inside PIA Group, their Dutch MGA. The three groups share one architecture: tenant-scoped per brand, on the source system the office already runs.

Sits on every local stack

ANVA stays. DIAS stays. Every local stack stays.

Orchestration & Data Mapping is the integration fabric, not a connector list. Every local source system per country plugs in once. After that the advisor and customer layer sits on top.

Adoption across the group

Live in days, trained via webinars and live sessions.

What kills a buy-and-build is not the technology, but adoption across a growing number of offices. White-labelled per brand, with onboarding paced to the office itself.

  • White-label extranet, customer portal and Smart Buddy per brand, live in days after acquisition.
  • Products loaded onto the office's existing ANVA or DIAS product engine; no source-system rebuild.
  • Advisor and back-office onboarding via targeted webinars or live sessions, office by office.

Exit-readiness

A group that runs operationally as one due-diligences differently.

One operating layer across every country, label and source system makes it demonstrable that processes, customer servicing and compliance are actually consolidated. Not twenty office-level reports under one logo, but one group view that underpins operational maturity. That is what due diligence confirms.

Frequently asked

For international groups · the things on the board agenda.

How does a new acquisition plug in?

Each new acquisition plugs into the group's existing WeGroup tenant, with its own labels, products and language. Typically live in days, not quarters, because the connectors already run.

Does it work cross-country (NL, BE, ES, etc.)?

Yes. WeGroup runs in multiple countries today, with local data sources (RDW, KvK, equivalents), local regulators (FSMA, DNB, ACPR, FCA) and per-market language support.

Do local offices keep their own products and stack?

Yes. Local autonomy remains. Each office runs on its own source system; WeGroup adds the shared advice, distribution and intelligence layer on top of the heterogeneity.

What about cross-country data and governance?

Data stays inside the right tenant and the right country boundaries. Group-level aggregations are available to the holding, while respecting local GDPR context.

What's a typical time-to-live for a new acquisition?

For a group already running the WeGroup layer, a new office or country typically plugs in in days to a few weeks, depending on the source system and product mix. No forced migration, no re-architecting of the holding.
