Do I need to be a WeGroup customer to use this?
No, you don't need to be an existing WeGroup customer. The Smart Buddy is available for all insurance offices. During registration you create a free WeGroup account to securely connect with your source system (ANVA/DIAS/etc.).
Does WeGroup read all my emails?
No. The Smart Buddy analyzes emails before you open them. WeGroup filters internal forwarded emails by default and doesn't analyze emails considered non-insurance-related, unless you explicitly request this. Your data is safe and GDPR-compliant.
Which mailboxes does the Smart Buddy work with?
The Smart Buddy is currently available within Microsoft Outlook (Classic, New, Mac, and Web). Support for Gmail and other mailboxes is on the roadmap.
I work in a Citrix/Terminal Server environment, does this work?
Yes. The WeGroup Smart Buddy works natively inside Outlook (Microsoft 365). During registration we offer a special guide that you can send to your system administrator for centralized installation.
